The Garden is calling
Hearing a fresh renewal of the creation mandate at teamLab Planets Tokyo.

September was a month of decluttering and magical thinking. Working through grief and confusion of many kinds. I enter October with a surprising calm and clarity — in a new wave of His anticipation.
Living deeper into the new rhythms of Grace.
2026 is still a big mystery entering the final quarter of 2025 — anything can happen and anywhere. As they say, a lot can happen in a little time. I have also never been one who plans life (thus easier to just let God run with it?) For as long as I’ve known life, I see it in wild possibilities and imaginations.
When I walked into teamLab Planets Tokyo for the first time, it felt like walking into my brain. Where there is no need to put things in neat boxes to make sense. On the contrary, to not see the world in a black or white — but in colors, shades, and nuances.
There is a fear of a truly good kind of beauty in those who resist them.
This trip to Tokyo was back in April just Maisey and I — we stayed a long time in the enchanting floating garden at teamLab.
There was a familiarity, and it was calling out. Quite like a fresh renewal of the creation mandate. And to remember for some of us, home, is on the road.
The Garden is calling.
